Meet Tannik
Tannik was born in Hopedale, Labrador, Canada and is a critically endangered breed of husky known as the Labrador Husky. There are fewer than a hundred of these dogs in existence and I am blessed to have been fortunate enough to home her. The Labrador Husky ancestry consists of Canadian Inuit dog interbreeding with the Labrador wolf due to geographic isolation. Tannik means ‘soul’ in Inuktitut and we are fighting to save these stunning draft dogs before they are lost forever.
